These candle holders have been shaped so they perfectly fit either a tea light, or the stubby candles from Wax Atelier. Available in two different glazes - Linen or Pebble, I adore their tactile shape, especially the ridged trim round the edges.
Each candle holder takes just over 3 weeks to make. All handthrown on the wheel in Menna's garden studio only once they have hardened like leather can they are trimmed before being bisque fired and sanded to ensure they’re all smooth. Then they are glazed and fired again. This careful process and fine attention to detail is visible in every single candle holder.
I love their dual function so you have flexibility around what sort of candle you wish to use. I also love the glaze - rustic and gentle but classic - they’ll work in any setting.
Mix and match them with taller candles for a stunning table display or just use by themselves to add some atmosphere to an informal supper setting. I tend to use these if we’re having a family supper or having friends round for a casual kitchen supper where I want to create a cosy mood with gentle candlelight without formal high candlesticks.
