I have this beautiful striped sage green plant pot on my kitchen windowsill by the sink. It has a little mint plant in it I picked up from the supermarket and although I see it several times a day - every day, without fail, every single time, it gives me joy each time I look at it.
I always have herbs in my kitchen - usually basil and mint, and rather than a generic pot, as soon as I saw this handmade stoneware plant pot, I knew it was for me. I love stripes and this pastel sage green colour is so lovely. Enough of a colour to make it interesting but gentle enough that it’ll work with lots of different room designs. I’m also a massive fan of anything with a scalloped edge. It’s an interior trend that is here to stay and I am all for it!
Each planter is handmade in the UK by the amazingly talented Sea Bramble Ceramics. Lesley at Sea Bramble makes coastal inspired ceramic gifts and homewares in her signature coastal pastel colour palette.
Whilst I have my handmade plant pot in my kitchen it would just as beautiful as a pair on an outside dining table over summer or in a bathroom or on a bedside table. You could even use it as a vase for a large posy of flowers from the garden. It’s a really simple way to add a bit of gentle colour and joy to a room.
