Collection: Cleiog Ceramics
I fell in love with Menna’s ceramics as soon as I saw them. I would happily have one of everything she makes because its all just so incredibly beautiful. Menna is inspired by French pottery and fabric and this comes through in her work - it has an utterly delicious vintage French vibe, especially with the glazes which Menna creates herself.
The name Cleiog Ceramics comes from the Welsh word 'Cleiog' which literally translates to 'an abundance of clay’. Menna is based in rural Cambridgeshire and makes small batches of ceramics, all hand thrown in stoneware on her potter’s wheel. Her ceramics are made to be enjoyed, used regularly and be a part of everyday living. They are all microwave safe and can be put in the dishwasher though hand washing is kinder.
The waiting list for Menna’s work is long and I have happily sat on it for months because I know her products are beautiful and absolutely worth the wait. I am thrilled to now be able to share those products with you.
