The Valentines Edit for the Season of Love

I'm ridiculously excited about Valentine's this year.  Absolutely no reason as to why but after our quiet and cold January it feels rather lovely to take another moment to appreciate the ones we love around us - be that a partner, friends, siblings, parents, etc  

Everyone has slightly different definitions of romance.  And I find they change as we move through life.  This week, Mr Rhubarb borrowed my car and seeing it was low on fuel, he filled it up for me.  I simply can not describe how much joy this gave me when I spotted my full tank this morning - ok, admittedly it's not the stuff of a Jane Austen hero, and 25 year old me is rolling my eyes, but thoughtfulness and kindness gets me every time.
