Introducing Kate Keller Handmade to Rhubarb & Hare

It is true that I only stock items at Rhubarb & Hare that I absolutely love and the work of Kate Keller Handmade is no exception.  Kate’s baskets are something special.  Exceptionally beautiful and useful each one is individually hand crocheted by Kate at her home in rural Essex.  Kate uses a delicious array of colours in premium cotton cord made with 100% recycled cotton and the quality of each one is simply gorgeous to feel and to see.  

I first bought a soft pink one to use in my office.  Then I loved it so much I bought another one, in eucalyptus this time, to keep all our keys in at home.  But I loved that one so much I had to buy my sister one, in denim blue this time.  They do make perfect gifts.  So you see, there is just one problem with Kate’s work - once you start buying, and you have felt and seen the quality, you simply can’t stop buying!!  They’ve already appeared in magazines like Country Living and it’s not hard to see why.

I am absolutely thrilled to be stocking her at Rhubarb & Hare.  I have started with three of my favourite shapes, which are all so versatile you can literally use them for a million different uses depending on your needs.  I cherry picked some of my favourite colours too which I hope you love just as much as I do.
